I/O Coaches

Jodi

Co-Owner / Coach

"As a mother of six and constantly working on my feet, I/O has helped me keep up with all of lifes demands.

I found a new level of energy and strength by doing I/O workouts that I previously thought was not possible to achieve.

I am beyond excited to help others

achieve a level of fitness that will help them become better at life!"

Michael

Co-Owner / Coach

"As a Lieutenant on a local police dept,

I have found that the I/O workouts help me to keep in shape to perform my duties and come home safely every night.

I/O is and has been a life changing experience. I love the fact that I can be a part of this experience with others and share this journey. Seeing the improvements of our athletes is something that continues to motivate me every single day."

"Some progress is better than no progress. Now do the work and the inevitable will happen!"

"One month before moving from Wisconsin to Cleveland, I met someone who coincidentally had just moved from Cleveland to Wisconsin. Without knowing much about me, she suggested I check out I/O. 3 months after my move, I was going insane- struggling to find a community and struggling to find a way to exercise in a unique and challenging way that could somewhat replace my love for gymnastics. I lived downtown at the time, a short walk from a different gym, but for whatever reason, that random recommendation stuck with me. Fast forward about a year and a half, and I am now coaching at I/O.

I can’t get enough of the workouts or the people, and I love that I get to help others reach their goals and grow this fabulous community.

"Being former military, I was constantly looking for ways to workout that were challenging and fun. I/O brings both aspects to every workout. I first started CrossFit out of my garage. Sure the workouts were tough, but I found that when you do it along side others, they help push you to go a little faster or a little harder to achieve what you thought wasn't possible. Everyone suffers together...in a good way. I became a coach so that I help others achieve their goals and help build a better community."

Sarah

Coach

"Imported from Wisconsin, I moved to CLE a few years ago to become a postdoctoral fellow at the Cleveland Clinic.

I found CrossFit in 2011 and fell in love with how the core concepts translated scientifically and physically to everyday life. While the community engagement

always keeps me coming back for more, the impact CrossFit has had on my own struggles in life has been monumental. From a diagnosis with type 1 diabetes in 2012 and overcoming a debilitating back surgery the following year to now - preparing for motherhood -

CrossFit helps keep me healthy and overcome challenges in life.""
